Label all blood tubes and ear notch vials clearly with animal ID, making certain caps fit securely. Place blood tubes and ear notch vials in air-tight heavy duty zip-lock bag(s). Place bag with samples into shipping box and surround the sample bag with ample packing material to prevent breakage during shipping. Place completed submission form(s) and payment into separate zip-lock bag and include in shipment. Place completed submission form and payment into shipping box. Use proper shipping labels (can be provided) as well as the cautionary words on outside of box: "BOVINE BLOOD and/or TISSUE SAMPLES." Ship samples via Priority Mail, FedEx or UPS to reach our laboratory NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY. (Priority mail; UPS; FedEX)
